Where to Find an AED

• Mobile App: Use the AED Locations app to find the nearest device in real-time.
• Registration: Owners are encouraged to register their AED with Hato Hone St John so 111 dispatchers can guide bystanders to them during emergencies

Basic Use Steps

1. Call 111 immediately.
2. Start CPR while someone else gets the AED.
3. Turn on the device and follow its voice and visual prompts.
4. Apply pads to the patient’s bare chest as shown on the diagrams.
5. Stand clear when the device analyses or instructs you to deliver a shock.
